Super and Highsnobiety get together for a second time, for a very special occasion: to celebrate the Swiss company’s 5th birthday. Most of you know Highsnobiety for the respect they earned in the fashion scene, as being one of the most complete and authoritative style blogs of the last five years.

For this collaboration we selected our cutting edge yet timeless Andrea model. Designing it with a selection of  high-snobbyish textures and material that makes it immediately stand out from the crowd: a briar-inspired acetate, that even an original Jaguar from the 70s would admire, teamed up with our fine Italian black leather.

Gold details  and the “Highsnobiety” regal logo embedded on the exterior of the arms to top it off and complete the piece.

Like all of our models, this product is of the finest Italian craftsmanship, featuring the highest quality leather, finest acetate, all shaped and molded by hand in Italy with Zeiss lenses.

The case has also been customized for this special project,  black with a retrò inspired shape, maintaining a classic design and customized with the Highsnobiety logo that gives that extra touch.

This style has been produced in a limited quantity of 80 pieces and will be available today at 5.00 pm CET on our online store here, at Soto store Berlin, Colette Paris and other selected stores.

We are proud to present our new extra-curricular project.

A little something we are doing from time to time, just to get your eyes rolling and to soothe your incurable hunger between one season and another.
We therefore have decided to release a series of exclusive models in between seasons through our online store and a selection of shops worldwide, so make sure you pop by our website to be up to date with all our upcoming goodies.

The first of this exclusive series is the Randagio, this stray dog is quite a unique piece: a puma acetate skeleton hand covered in top notch leather with refined gold details that complete the elegant and strong design.

After the great success we had with our Black Leather Flat Top, we were stimulated to get down and work on the potentials of this exclusive material, creating the Flat Top in two other color declinations (as you may have seen from the recent press around the web) and more models that capture this same mood, yet combine various techniques and distinctive elements from our AW 10/11 collection.
Super’s tradition is to produce the best quality and cool sunglasses at the most reasonable price, and this is the same with our special models.
The shades will cost 223 EUR and will be produced in a limited quantity of 230 pieces.

You will find the Randagio in selected stores after the 5th of August and a limited quantity on our online store starting at 3:00PM (CET).

The collaboration between WeSC and SUPER  is the second venture into eyewear for WeSC. What made WeSC interested once again in eyewear was SUPER’s great products, brand philosophy and fresh ideas.

The two brands share many similarities – the ideas behind it and the joy in creating good things for good people. The result of the collaboration is something we are very proud of and look forward to wearing… Really soon.

The shades originated from the union of the two dynamic brands, resulting in a totally new shape designed on purpose for the Swedish brand: it’s retrò & modern, classic & streety at the same time.

All the details are in gold color like the metal decorum on the side that when opened reveals the WeSC logo. The shades comes with black mirrored lenses mounted, but also include a case containing a second set of rock hard pure black lenses. The shades are produced in a limited quantity of 500 pieces.

SUPER has met the lifestyle mood of another brand and gave birth to a new collaboration: Chocolate Skateboards. Chocolate was founded in 1994 as a spin-off from Girl skateboard Company. We at Super wanted to celebrate Chocolate’s success and 15 Year Anniversary with a limited edition release of 333 special pairs of sunnies. Our common point of view on quality and the continued research of changes have made us work together with excitement for this fresh and special project.

A shade based on our Classic silhouette, characterized by the double use of two different colored acetates on the exterior and interior. Translucent grey and translucent red for the frame and same but inverted for the arms. The Chocolate written logo on the inside and the square red glass-lined one on the outside. All pieces are numbered 00/333 and come with the white box that has always distinguished SUPER’s special projects.

As someone may already have noticed, Super has done a new exciting project with the legendary Liberty & Co department store established in 1875. We have always wanted to add some floral prints on Super but thought we needed a good reason to do them. August 2009 is the celebration of their famous prints, what a better excuse?!

After alot of hard work and some luck, we have managed to reproduce our Super P.A.M. shades that were stolen from the DHL truck (previous news). We have applied a recognizable feature to tell the difference between the stolen ones and the new production:

the Super logo decoration in the old production is, like usual, in both of the inside arms; while on the new production you will find only one, on the left side arm (as pictured).
Hope the people that were pissed-off like us are happy now! and to celebrate the occasion we have put 10 pieces on sale here, all the pictures you will find them here, and the shops here (please specify Super x PAM in the drop dwon menu).
