MARNI EYEWEAR FW25 stemmed from detailed vintage research, with a special eye on the Mod subculture of the late 1960s and the proto-punk movement of the 1970s: from the exaggeratedly oversized round glasses worn by those consuming Kinks records after the British Invasion of ’64, to those, a decade later, already sporting garish cat-eye designs on their way to Stooges live shows.
