To celebrate the first chapter of RSF's collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the collection brings together Warhol's original artworks and RSF's distinctive design language. Exploring the Foundation's archives, RSF selected the Photobooth Self-Portrait series, a bold and witty body of work immediately recognized as the perfect starting point for this artsy eyewear line. Merging the artist's irony with the brand's innovative approach to design, the project reproduces a collage of four different self-portraits on an elegant silver acetate sheet, reminiscent of the silver gelatin prints used in vintage film photography, applied on the inner side of each frame. The front is rendered in a sleek metallic grey acetate, resulting in a refined interpretation of four timeless RSF silhouettes, América, Classic, Ciccio and Drew.
