To celebrate the fifth chapter of the collaboration between RSF and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the collection draws inspiration from Warhol's iconic 1960s Flowers works and from a fanciful sketch of floral sunglasses dating back to the early 1950s, when he was devoted to illustration. The project reinterprets the Drew and Drew Mama silhouettes through vivid prints and sculptural volumes, translating archival references into contemporary eyewear. Drew Mama offers a playful, colourful take on the Flowers series through a refined acetate printing technique, while Drew reinterprets Warhol's illustration with pink hues and a vibrant feminine attitude.
